Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Educate clients and families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques during sessions.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client focus will be individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also work with vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and domestic abuse victims, providing essential support through tailored interventions and counseling strategies that promote recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
