Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Manager/Director, physicians, and staff
- Supervise and direct registered nurses and ancillary personnel, ensuring safe, cost-effective patient care
- Lead care planning discussions with health team members, patients, and families; revise plans as needed
- Monitor patient care activities to ensure quality and safety, and participate in direct patient care as needed
- Conduct rounds to assess patient needs, solicit feedback, and address concerns promptly
- Implement improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice) required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree preferred
- At least two years of recent field experience; supervisory skills or experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting and lead a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible for a travel temporary assignment and able to work 3x12-hour shifts
