Work Environment

Our clinic, located in the scenic area of Palm Bay, enjoys a vibrant community and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and resources. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work primarily onsite in our outpatient office where you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. This environment encourages knowledge sharing and teamwork, with a strong focus on elevating patient care and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify individual goals and requirements, ensuring an understanding of their specific needs.
• Manage a caseload of up to one patient per hour, allowing for focused, personalized treatment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans using a variety of treatment modalities, incorporating manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols.
• Document patient care services meticulously to maintain accurate records and monitor progress throughout the treatment process.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes to adjust plans as required while communicating effectively with patients and their families.
• Encourage a proactive approach to recovery by motivating patients to adhere to their treatment plans and engage in therapeutic exercises.
• Provide wellness and fitness programs tailored to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Consult and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Explore cost-effective treatment options to reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. We cater to a diverse demographic, including active adults and seniors, which provides an enriching experience as you tailor your approaches to suit different age groups and lifestyles. Your expertise will directly support their rehabilitation journeys, making a real difference in their day-to-day lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or complaints against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the capability to develop specific exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Strong skills in communicating and motivating patients are essential for success in this position.
• A track record of developing and applying holistic treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
