This full-time assignment runs from August 5th through May 21st, 2027, with required training and pre-planning sessions starting in late July. The school is seeking two passionate educators with expertise in special education to support its vibrant community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid GaPSC certification in Special Education General Curriculum for middle school (current and active)
• Experience delivering individualized instruction and managing an inclusive classroom
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Willingness to participate in mandatory training (July 29) and pre-planning (July 31 – August 4)
• Flexibility to adapt as caseload details become available
• Previous middle school special education teaching experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s needs
• Differentiate instruction using evidence-based strategies
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and document student progress toward goals
• Work closely with colleagues and related service providers for a team-based approach
• Communicate effectively with families and external partners
• Engage in professional development, including initial training and ongoing learning
