Phlebotomist III - Floater

Pay Rate: $28/hour

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient demographics and obtain required patient signatures to ensure specimen accuracy
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality of patient information
• Travel between patient service centers and physician offices as needed to provide coverage
• Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and clients
• Work independently while meeting productivity, quality, and service expectations

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call schedules, and varying hours based on business needs
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
