Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd ShiftWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment at a rapidly growing food manufacturing company.Hours:2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 12:00am, Wednesday - Saturday3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 8:00am, Wednesday - SaturdayPay: $28 - $38/hrResponsibilities:Complete maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.Be readily available for emergency repairs and breakdown situations.Analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.Complete work orders promptly while maintaining high quality standards.Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees to inform them of any issues affecting production efficiency.Report unsafe conditions and food safety violations.Comply with HACCP and GMP protocols for production.Pull wire, terminate circuits, troubleshoot PLCs (I/O, not programs), and limit switches.Essential Skills:Mechanical Skills – Repair machines, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other equipment (with supervision and guidance)Electrical Skills – Understand basic wiring, sensors, switches, and electrical troubleshootingSafety & Food Production – Follow LOTO, PPE, GMPs, sanitation, and other plant safety requirementsWhy Work Here?Join a fast-growing industry pioneer dedicated to shaping global wellness through high-quality, nutritious food products. Experience diverse temperature conditions with refrigerated packaging lines and shipping storage areas.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
