****APPLY IN PERSON - TUESDAY- FRIDAY between 2pm and 4pm Line Cook – Cruzteca Mexican Kitchen Job Summary Cruzteca is looking for a dependable, hardworking Line Cook who takes pride in preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate follows recipes, works efficiently, maintains a clean station, and works well as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Cruzteca recipes and presentation standards. Read, understand, and accurately follow recipes and prep sheets. Set up and stock your station before each shift. Maintain speed, consistency, and quality during busy service. Keep your station clean, organized, and food-safe throughout the shift. Rotate and label products using FIFO (First In, First Out). Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Requirements Previous line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant. Experience working grill, sauté, fryer, and/or expo stations. Strong knife skills and efficient food preparation techniques. Ability to accurately read and follow recipes. Understanding of proper food temperatures, sanitation, and kitchen safety. Ability to multitask while maintaining speed, consistency, and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand for 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds . Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one). Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
