Travel RN - Emergency Room (ER) | Rapid Response Assignment

Location: Evans, GA (Augusta Area)
Unit: Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED)

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (ER)
• Assignment Type: Travel – Rapid Response
• Duration: 6 Weeks
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 48 Hours per Week
• Every Other Weekend Required

Compensation

• W2 Pay Rate: $32.50/hr
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,288.00
• Weekly Gross Pay (48 Hours): $2,848.00

Requirements

• Minimum 2 Years of Emergency Department Experience
• Experienced ED RN comfortable managing common emergency presentations and trauma patients

Required Certifications

• TNCC
• ACLS
• PALS
• BLS
• NIHSS

Unit Highlights

• 11-Bed Free-Standing Emergency Department
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4 to 1:6 (Acuity Based)
• Documentation System: Meditech
• New state-of-the-art facility with all new equipment
• On-site CT, X-Ray, Cardiac Monitoring, and Point-of-Care Lab Testing
• Opportunity to expand skills with BiPAP, ventilator management, and point-of-care laboratory testing

• IV Insertions
• Foley Catheter Insertions
• NG Tube Insertions
• Assisting Providers with Emergency Department Procedures
• Trauma and Emergency Patient Care

Additional Information

• Possibility of floating to the Main Emergency Department
• No Special Scheduling Requests or RTO Accepted
• Royal Blue Scrubs Required
• Frequent admissions and transfers to the main hospital
