Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years, preferably 3 years. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required. Must-Have: - Level I Trauma experience preferred. - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Experience with charting in EPIC. Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. This role involves caring for patients across all acuity levels, from minor to critical care. The nurse will need to manage a patient ratio of 4:1, with the possibility of flexing to 5:1 on occasion. Candidates should have experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Nurses will provide interdisciplinary support and collaborate with various departments. Behavioral health experience is a plus as staffing may occur in those areas. Candidates must be able to perform tasks such as starting and maintaining IVs, managing central lines, and performing phlebotomy. Successful candidates will need to pass an EKG exam. This position offers guaranteed hours with no on-call requirements. Accommodation for a Friday-Sunday weekend block schedule may be available. Candidates must not have more than 7 days of requested time off during the contract. Submit without a license if you hold a compact nursing license or are licensed in the state. Local candidates are not accepted within a specified radius.
