Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement various activities, including arts and crafts, games, excursions, and entertainment programs

• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to develop a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse interests and needs of our community

• Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities, with a focus on promoting socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall wellness

• Assist with daily activities, such as scheduling, planning, and coordinating events

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere

• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in activities programming preferred

• Minimum 1 year of experience in activities programming, social services, or a related field

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse population
