HR Coordinator (Contract)

Are you a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an HR Coordinator to support onboarding, compliance, and administrative HR functions for a growing organization in Cedar Rapids.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support employee onboarding activities
• Ensure timely completion and accuracy of new hire documentation
• Maintain personnel records and HR data with a high level of accuracy
• Monitor compliance with company policies and onboarding requirements
• Assist with background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment processes
• Provide administrative support to the HR team and hiring managers
• Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding items
• Handle confidential employee information professionally and securely

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HR, recruiting coordination, onboarding, or administrative support
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems/databases preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
