Position Overview

Native Rank is seeking a highly organized, client-focused Account Manager to support our growing customer base.

In this role, you will serve as the primary relationship manager and advocate for a portfolio of clients. You will help clients understand their digital marketing strategy, communicate priorities to our internal teams, and ensure projects continue moving forward.

You will lead client conversations, coordinate closely with our SEO, Content, Development, and other internal teams, and help translate complex marketing topics into clear, actionable information.

You do not need to be the subject matter expert in every area of digital marketing. However, you should be curious, comfortable learning technical concepts, and confident working alongside specialists to provide clients with thoughtful guidance.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, stays organized, and is comfortable solving problems rather than simply passing information from one team to another.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing day-to-day communication with professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment.
• Lead client calls and updates, helping clients understand strategy, progress, priorities, and next steps across SEO, Content, Website Development, and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Partner closely with internal subject matter experts to ensure recommendations and strategies are communicated clearly and confidently to clients.
• Translate complex digital marketing topics into direct, approachable language while effectively managing expectations and building trust.
• Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, goals, priorities, and challenges so you can advocate for them internally.

Client Advocacy, Coordination & Follow-Through

• Serve as a key client advocate, reviewing project updates and deliverables through the lens of the client's goals, expectations, and overall strategy.
• Partner with our QA and production teams to identify questions, inconsistencies, or client-specific considerations before work is delivered.
• Coordinate client requests with internal teams and ensure priorities, expectations, and next steps are clearly understood.
• Meticulously track client requests, open items, and project milestones to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
• Provide proactive updates to clients rather than waiting for them to ask about project status.
• Identify potential issues early and work with the appropriate internal teams to develop solutions.

You have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple clients, conversations, requests, and deadlines at the same time without losing track of important details.

You take responsibility for outcomes and make sure commitments are followed through. When something is unclear or off track, you take initiative to find the answer and move it forward.

A Self-Driven Learner

You are curious and eager to learn. You do not need to know every aspect of digital marketing on day one, but you should be comfortable learning new concepts and developing a working understanding of the services we provide.

Additional Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfort working with multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in our Denver office during scheduled hours.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of experience in digital marketing, account management, client success, project coordination, or a related role.
• Agency experience managing or supporting multiple client accounts is a plus.
• Familiarity with SEO, paid search, website development, content marketing, or other digital marketing channels is helpful, but deep subject matter expertise is not required.
