Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Location: Houston, TX – Onsite Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $110,000+ DOE with flexibility for highly experienced candidates, plus bonus opportunity A growing Houston plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to independently manage active litigation matters from filing through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate has direct plaintiff-side personal injury experience and is comfortable managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. This position offers the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of cases while working alongside an experienced litigation and trial team. Responsibilities Independently manage plaintiff personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution Develop and execute litigation and case strategy Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives Handle hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other court proceedings Oversee written discovery, document production, and litigation deadlines Conduct legal research and analysis Evaluate liability, damages, case exposure, and settlement opportunities Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance representatives Prepare cases, witnesses, exhibits, motions, and other materials for trial Maintain direct communication with clients regarding strategy, case status, and expectations Work collaboratively with paralegals, legal assistants, experts, and other attorneys Ensure compliance with court rules, filing deadlines, and ethical requirements Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active Texas Bar license in good standing 3+ years of litigation experience Direct plaintiff personal injury experience required Experience independently managing litigated cases Strong deposition, discovery, mediation, and motion-practice experience Courtroom and hearing experience Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple active matters and competing deadlines Strong client communication and case-management skills Preferred Jury trial experience Catastrophic injury, trucking, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, or other complex personal injury experience Track record of significant settlements or verdicts Experience handling high-exposure litigation matters Familiarity with modern legal case-management technology Competitive base salary with flexibility based on experience and results Bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Short- and long-term disability 401(k) Paid Time Off Paid holidays Continuing legal education and professional-development opportunities This is an opportunity for an experienced plaintiff-side litigator to take ownership of meaningful personal injury matters while joining a growing Houston practice with an established litigation and trial team. #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
