About the Role:
Join Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County as a Lead Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in daily activities.
• Assess and monitor children's development and provide feedback to parents.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with parents and families to support children's growth and learning.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
• Organize and participate in educational activities and events.
• Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution among children.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Valid New York State teaching certification for early childhood education.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or child care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Basic knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
