Join Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County as a Lead Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in daily activities.
- Assess and monitor children's development and provide feedback to parents.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents and families to support children's growth and learning.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Organize and participate in educational activities and events.
- Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution among children.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Valid New York State teaching certification for early childhood education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or child care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Basic knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
