Farmers Insurance - Northwest District in Niles, Illinois, is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate. If you thrive in a fastpaced, goaloriented environment and enjoy connecting with people to drive new business, this role is for you.
No prior experience in Insurance? No problem! This is the perfect opportunity to transfer your experience to break into a new industry. Youll have the opportunity to grow your knowledge, and youll benefit from additional avenues for growth and advancement.
This role is specifically designed as a stepping stone for future entrepreneurs; we provide the roadmap and hands-on experience necessary to eventually transition into running your own agency. We will teach you everything you need to know, and you will continue growing your knowledge with our mentorship and training.

Licensing Assistance
Responsibilities- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and community engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and referrals
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options
- Follow up on leads quickly and consistently to move prospects through the sales pipeline
- Prepare quotes, present solutions, and close sales to meet production goals
- Active or ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (fully-paid by Farmers)
- Proficiency in Communication and excellent Customer Service skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
- Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage but not mandatory
