Key Responsibilities Responsible for the proper washing of tableware, flatware, glassware and other kitchen equipment, including monitoring machine rinse pressure and water temperature to meet sanitation guidelines. Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and other assigned areas in a sanitary manner Establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships with coworkers, residents and guests Must be familiar with food handling procedures and state and local regulations Must know how to operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker and ice machine Retrieve garbage and recyclables from residence floors as needed Maintain the compactor room and place garbage curbside for pick up daily as required May be required to help with inventory, maintenance, food deliveries, and shelving stock Participate in on-going in-service and training requirements Follow emergency procedures Understand and comply with all Inspīr safety practices and procedures Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification High School diploma or equivalent preferred Experience with and passion for working with seniors Why You'll Love working for Us Competitive wages Flexible shifts Growth opportunities Bonus & incentive programs Competitive Benefits Package: including medical, dental, vision, 401K match, company paid time-off, life insurance policy, insurance deductibles and voluntary Aflac insurance for our full-time employees.
