Job Details Position: Registered Nurse Supervisor – Bed Placement / Transfer Center Location: Spokane, WA 99204 Setting: Acute care transfer center within a Level II Trauma / Level II Pediatric Trauma environment Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Shift Duration: 10-hour nights Schedule: Night shift, 4x10s; every other weekend required Hours: 40 hours per week Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 20 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 - $2,650 Charting System: Epic Patient Contact: No direct patient contact Schedule Notes: Flexible 10- or 12-hour shift lengths may be considered Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of house supervisor or transfer center experience required Epic experience required Experience with intake, bed control, transfers, and bed placement Strong crisis management, escalation, and facility diversion skills Comfortable supporting a high-acuity acute care environment Ability to work every other weekend and commit to 3 of the 5 major holidays Two professional references covering the last 1 year of experience Responsibilities Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and bed placement with accuracy and efficiency Support transfer center workflow and collaborate closely with house supervisor staff Manage intake and bed control activities to help optimize patient flow Use Epic to document and track transfer-related information Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support timely placement decisions Assist with facility diversion and bed diversion processes when needed Maintain a calm, solution-focused approach during high-volume or urgent situations Ensure patients are directed to the appropriate level of care without direct bedside involvement Why Join This Healthcare Team?
