Crisis Intervention Specialist

Responsibilities Serves as a member of the Mobile Crisis Response Team. Completes assessments of clients in crisis within the community to determine risk, provide support, and facilitate stabilization in the community or via a higher level of care. Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms. Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Completes referrals for follow up from crisis intervention services to outpatient services or to inpatient psych facilities, as needed. Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Services. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2 years’ work experience in a Behavioral Health setting. High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in a clinical role in a behavioral health setting. Salary and Benefits Competitive Salary with potential for annual increases.
