Ecommerce Product Manager

Purpose Floor & Decor is hiring a Product Manager responsible for creating and maintaining a best-in-class shopping experience on flooranddecor.com, primarily focused on Ratings & Reviews and later moving into other areas of the shopping funnel. This Product Manager will work in close collaboration with Merchants, Online Merchandising, Store Ops, Marketing & IT and other product managers covering tangentially related products. This position is a key contributor to the success of flooranddecor.com in the market and seeks to drive revenue and enhance customer experience through product evolution, enhancement, and optimization efforts. The products this role may oversee from inception to sunset may include but is not limited to: Ratings & Reviews Product Q&A Product Data Modeling Product List Pages We are looking for someone with a passion for digital experience who puts the customer experience first to drive a strong roadmap & execution of roadmap plans. The ability to demonstrate positive performance and increased competitiveness for the digital product is incredibly important to success in this role. The successful candidate is data driven, curious and motivated with a strong attention to detail. Minimum Eligibility Requirements 2+ years of digital product management and/or business analyst experience Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly Must be organized and possess strong problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, with experience collaborating closely with engineering and design teams Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives, maintaining a balance between online and in-store impact and requirements. Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and utilizing data to shape product vision, strategy, and requirements, with a focus on both web and omnichannel retail contexts Skilled in using data to guide both short- and long-term product decision-making for online sales growth and customer satisfaction with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated success delivering digital products end-to-end, from ideation and roadmap planning to launch and post-launch analysis Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, able to bridge the gap between business, technology, and customer experience teams to achieve unified results Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with a team to execute tasks and projects and achieve desired results Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences in addition to senior leadership Ideal but not Required Customer-Facing Digital Product Ratings & Reviews Customer Generated Content Product Data Modeling 1+ years of eCommerce experience ideally with Salesforce CommerceCloud / Demandware Essential Job Functions Define and prioritize features that enhance the eCommerce shop & browse journey, including ratings & reviews, product listing, product details, search and other related experiences where needs / opportunities arise. Provide actionable prioritization recommendations to the Shop & Browse Product Manager, aligning with business goals and customer needs. Participate in production support activities including but not limited to replicating issues, reviewing customer sessions and/or systems logs to identify impact, potential root causes and fixes. Conduct market research and competitor analysis, incorporating user feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and trends in eCommerce. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, write user stories, and create product specifications that align with the end-to-end customer experience. Partner with development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features, enhancements, and technical integrations. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that new features meet functional, usability, and performance standards. Define and track and analyze KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, checkout abandonment, fulfillment times, and customer satisfaction) to measure feature impact and identify improvement areas. Use data analysis and user insights to continually optimize features and drive data-informed product decisions. Adapt product features and strategies based on evolving user needs, market dynamics, and feedback.
