Step into a Day on Our Assembly Floor

You clock in at 7:00am, open the day's work orders, and dive into a mix of detailed assembly and precise testing. You study schematics, engineering drawings, bills of material, and standing instructions before beginning each build. By mid-morning, you’re cutting wire to spec, assembling subassemblies, and validating your work with micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins. After lunch, you verify electrical performance using a HiPot tester and multimeter, calculate parameters per the instructions, and document results to maintain quality records. You inspect inbound parts against drawings and tolerances, document and control any non-conforming material, and help pack finished product for shipment—verifying every item and quantity against the work order. The day closes at 3:30pm, unless you choose some voluntary overtime or a Saturday shift to support the team’s goals.

• Assemble electromechanical products and sub-assemblies by following detailed work and standing instructions.
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specified standards.
• Calculate and record test parameters; maintain accurate quality documentation.

• Engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of material.
• Measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, gauge pins.
• Electrical test gear: HiPot tester, multimeter.
• Standard power hand tools and manual hand tools.

• Verify outbound shipments per work orders and pack finished goods for delivery.
• Receive materials from vendors, customers, and other warehouses promptly and accurately.
• Inspect inbound POs for geometrical, dimensional, tolerance, and visual compliance with drawings.
• Document and control all non-conforming material.
• Support ISO certification, documentation maintenance, audits, and annual ISO training.
• Assist with inventory management and general warehouse tasks (packaging, material handling).

Standard hours are 7:00am–3:30pm. Overtime and Saturday work are available on a voluntary basis; ability to work overtime when required is also important.

• High School diploma or GED required; technical school experience is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in assembly, quality control, or inventory management.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, bills of material, and standing instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid mathematical skills.
• Critical thinking, keen attention to detail, and the ability to solve practical problems where limited standardization exists.
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft products and warehouse management systems.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with coworkers to meet customer needs.
• Organized, able to prioritize, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Experience in electromechanical assembly, warehouse packaging/material handling, and PIT/forklift operation is a plus.
• Comfortable with tasks such as wire cutting, unpacking, and repacking as part of assembly duties.
