Water Business Group Director of Owner Advisor Services

From delivering safe drinking water and treating wastewater responsibly to developing sustainable water supplies and protecting lives and property through flood control, your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience. You will solve complex challenges with bold thinking and technical excellence, modernizing aging systems or pioneering innovative approaches to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Primary Responsibilities Increase HDR OA services market share. Standardize HDR OA services delivery across the business group. Identify and mitigate risks related to OA service contracts. Elevate and maintain the HDR OA services brand in the water infrastructure industry. Ensure local operations are pursuing OA services contracts, provide senior oversight and direction in developing OA services marketing strategy, and maintain a comprehensive list of all OA service projects and successes. Develop and maintain best practices and a recommended procedures/protocol toolkit, and promote its use by all OA practitioners. Lead client and HDR staff education regarding collaborative delivery models and effective use of Owner Advisor. Oversee delivery of OA services across the business group, ensuring proper risk assignment measures and a more formulaic delivery approach. Confirm the use of best practices whenever OA services are delivered. Elevate brand equity, win more contracts, and position HDR as the OA firm of choice. Recruit top OA delivery candidates and integrate them into the OA program. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field. 10 years experience in a related field. Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience. Experience in the development and management of diverse teams. Works cooperatively with other business class regional directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers. Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.
