Salesforce NCino Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong Salesforce and nCino expertise. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership. This role will focus on translating business vision and roadmap initiatives into detailed requirements while ensuring alignment, quality, and successful delivery of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements across multiple business functions.
• Evaluate existing processes and systems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for business processes and technology solutions, including Salesforce and nCino.
• Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with stakeholders across Commercial Lending, Finance, Operations, Security, and Compliance to understand business needs and define effective solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for technical and development teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define user requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet business and usability needs.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), test planning, defect analysis, and validation of delivered functionality.
• Perform ongoing systems and process analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and improved productivity.
• Evaluate system requirements and processes on an ongoing basis and provide recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Create and maintain business process documentation, requirements documents, reports, and other project deliverables.
• Communicate project status, requirements, risks, issues, and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships with business and technology partners to support successful systems integration and delivery.
• Conduct research and provide data-driven recommendations to address business and system challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or nCino.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business and system requirements.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, systems development, and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with Commercial Lending, Banking, Financial Services, or related domains is highly preferred.
• Experience creating process flows, functional specifications, user stories, requirements documentation, and reports.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Experience managing or supporting UAT, user testing, and requirements validation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
