Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit for a diverse patient population across multiple specialty areas, including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT vascular.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and contribute to ongoing care planning with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, perform wound care, manage drains as ordered, and respond to clinical changes.
- Document care and procedures accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure clear, timely handoffs between shifts.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and support safe discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; respond to emergencies and uphold patient advocacy.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia; Nursys license verification required.
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
- Current nursing certification card.
- Ability to work a 36-hour guaranteed week in a 2x3 shift pattern.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to meet onboarding requirements for a travel assignment.
