Technical Operations Support Engineer

Salary: $139,360 - 141,440 per year Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in technical operations support or DevOps.
• Proficiency across the production incident lifecycle, including detection, triage and categorization, mitigation or containment, resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Experience creating and documenting technical runbooks and improving issue-tracking processes with tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Ability to build proactive monitoring dashboards using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Skill in analyzing complex JSON and XML logs and using Postman or cURL to investigate issues across front-end, back-end, and blockchain layers.
• Familiarity with one or more of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Java, and with reviewing code changes using Git or GitHub.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative approach, and an interest in application reliability and blockchain technology.
• Preferred: Certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, CKA, or blockchain specialties.
• Preferred: Experience with public blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, or Bitcoin, including node connectivity and private/public key management.
• Preferred: Knowledge of smart contract execution, such as Solidity, gas fees, and transaction monitoring.
• Bachelors degree.

• Build a technical support framework from the ground up, including diagnostic tools and user documentation.
• Monitor production systems for the Blockchain Incubators applications, including solutions built on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other public blockchains.
• Provide first-line support for after-hours incidents, using software development knowledge to diagnose issues and identify potential solutions.
• Work with business teams to understand use cases and partner with Core Development to improve product serviceability and stability.
• Divide time between supporting digital asset applications and developing strategic support resources.

We offer this remote contract role at $67–$68 per hour, with scheduled hours from 3 p.m. to midnight. The position is expected to split its time approximately evenly between active digital asset application support and building support resources, with potential future opportunities in digital asset engineering. On-call availability is required for critical systems, including shifts at night, on weekends, and on holidays.
