Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support, including hardware installations, software support, and customer issue resolution. The role involves managing service desk requests and collaborating with various IT teams to ensure smooth technical operations. Responsibilities:

Resolve service desk incidents and technical support requests
Install, image, and configure computers, printers, and peripherals
Perform user data migration and profile transfers
Support software deployment and troubleshoot customer issues
Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and status updates
Collaborate with infrastructure, data center, and application teams
Follow security policies and protect systems and data

Required Skills & Certifications:

7+ years of experience with computer hardware, software, peripherals, networking, and communications
7+ years installing and imaging computers and loading software
7+ years installing and configuring printers and peripherals
7+ years migrating user data and profiles
7+ years documenting technical support procedures
7+ years of experience with ServiceNow

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting Active Directory (AD), email, NCID, and CITRIX
Ability to lead technical support efforts and documentation work

Special Considerations:

On-site work required in Rocky Mount, NC
Travel may be required

Scheduling:

Standard on-site work schedule in Rocky Mount, NC
Interview options include webcam or in-person
