Support Operations In Long-Term Care PharmacySupport operations within a long-term care pharmacy by accurately processing orders and maintaining compliance with federal and state laws. This full-time, 13-week contract-to-hire position offers flexibility with remote work—equipment will be provided—or the option for on-site or hybrid arrangements if local and desired.Location: Wisconsin Dells, WI (Remote, On-site, or Hybrid)Setting: Long-Term Care PharmacySchedule: Full-time hoursKey Responsibilities:Enter new prescriptions and update patient profiles from the queue with precisionIdentify controlled substance requests and process according to strict policiesTroubleshoot insurance rejections; coordinate with billing as necessaryPrioritize and triage medication routes and orders efficientlyCommunicate with healthcare facilities to obtain missing information or report dispensing issuesRespond promptly to phone calls, answering within three ringsAlert Pharmacists and contact facilities regarding undispensed medication ordersFollow Absolute Check Policy rigorously to ensure safety and complianceCollaborate with Back Counter staff to relay critical updates and changesDeliver professional customer service promptlyAttend all mandatory meetings and training sessionsQualifications & Desired Experience:Proficient with Framework software (required)High School diploma or equivalentWI Pharmacy Technician License; Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferredPrevious pharmacy technician experienceStrong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and detail orientationExcellent organizational and clerical abilitiesAbility to work independently and adapt to evolving environmentsQuiet workspace and reliable high-speed internet for remote workThis contract-to-hire position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your pharmacy technician skills in a supportive and flexible environment.
