Role Description The Insurance Agent at Chubb Benefits is a full-time, on-site role based in Wailuku, HI. This role involves consulting with employers and individual clients to assess their insurance needs, presenting appropriate benefits solutions, and explaining coverage options clearly and accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and building relationships, conducting benefits presentations, preparing quotes, and managing policy applications and renewals. The Insurance Agent will also handle client inquiries, provide ongoing service and policy reviews, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient underwriting and administration. Maintaining accurate records, meeting sales and service targets, and staying current on product offerings and regulatory requirements are essential parts of the position. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to identify client needs and match them with suitable products. Solid understanding of Insurance and Finance principles to explain coverage, premiums, and benefits in a clear, compliant manner. Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and relationship management. Relevant state insurance licensing (or ability to obtain within required timeframe) and prior experience in benefits or commercial insurance is highly beneficial. Effective written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems.
