We are seeking a Line Cook to join the team at our busy restaurant. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate has positive & professional attitude and is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. *Part Time and Full Time opportunities*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner/Follow food safety regulations
- Follow recipes and Portion control guidelines
- Assist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment/Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Restock items throughout shift/Maintain appropriate levels of inventory
- Assume responsibility of quality of food that is cooked & served
- Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef, sous chef, or management
- Previous experience in a similar role is mandatory, including:
- experience in food preparation including frying, grill and saut cooking
- ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation
