As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Groveport, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity and site procedures. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, screen visitors and/or vendors, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with location procedures.
• Observe workplace conditions involving equipment traffic, product movement, and/or restricted areas, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
