Youll work closely with distributor partners, key accounts, and the BSB team to make sure our beer is not only sold in but actively sold through.Job OverviewDrive customer and solution-based selling with DistributorsDirect and collaborate with assigned distributors on development of the annual distributor business plan (ABP)Bring Badger State Beverage marketing to life in the local market in partnership with distributorsAccountable for the analysis, segmentation and development of target account lists for Badger State Beer distribution & displayAccountable for execution of chain & independent distribution, feature and display within the market to drive volume performance across your assigned distributorsRegular in-market work-withs to identify retail execution opportunitiesActively develop and manage distributor personnel including Sales Managers, Operations Management and Sales Reps; effectively train Badger State & Distributor reps to sell Badger State Beer.Work with the key customers in trade developing and building brand presence and sales in assigned channels and geography by meeting with each distributor to set targets for distribution (on- and off-premise), volume objectives, financial commitments, and merchandising targets. Essential Responsibilities and DutiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with distributors and retail partners.Selling new and existing brands in both on-premise and off-premise accounts.Calling in orders to distributors and following up to make sure beer is delivered.Increase shelf space and position in off-premise accounts.Assist in maintaining freshness standards for packaged products. RequirementsBachelors degree or equivalent industry experience, with 3+ years in beverage, beer, distributor, supplier, or CPG salesProven track record of driving sales growthTechnical capabilities, or the capacity to learn, across various internal (VIP, Karma, etc.) and external (syndicated data, distributor reporting, etc.) data sources to identify business opportunities, generate insights and tell great, visual stories is a mustThis is a remote based role, with travel required primarily within the defined footprint of the role, but also with infrequent travel for Badger State Beer or industry eventsPositivity and willingness to be a team player is a must. Will work alongside numerous different internal departments and sensitive wholesalers.Well-rounded knowledge of beer styles.
