Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure - Chicago South & NW Indiana

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist for vessel closure devices in the Chicago South and Northwest Indiana region. This field-based role supports the Vascular division by providing clinical expertise, case coverage, and product education to hospital customers in cardiology and interventional settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and case support for vessel closure products in hospital settings
- Develop relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and decision-makers to identify clinical needs
- Deliver clinical education through presentations and demonstrations on vascular products and technologies
- Attend cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, and operating room procedures for product support
- Address customer concerns by developing solutions and coordinating with sales and clinical teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience combination
- 2-5+ years related work experience
- 50% travel capability within assigned region
- Patient interaction experience in lab or operating room environments (preferred)
- Relevant technical certification (preferred)
Compensation: $68,000–$136,000 base
