Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, demonstrating empathy and building positive, therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to review client progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and evaluate the need for discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that address specific client needs and goals.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for each client.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to thoroughly understand each client’s background, needs, and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client.
\n
• Engage in regular one-on-one supervision sessions to reflect on therapeutic practices and receive feedback.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care strategies that benefit our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse outpatient population, including adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mental health disorders. You will also provide support to children and families, addressing developmental issues and familial dynamics. Understanding the unique needs of each client group is essential to delivering effective treatment and fostering positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting following graduation.
\n
• Proficiency with computer systems, including the ability to navigate Excel spreadsheets and utilize electronic health records (EHRs) like PIMSY.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy to individuals and families.
\n
• Comfort and competence in conducting intake assessments and developing client rapport.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

• Prior engagement in cross-disciplinary collaboration that enhances holistic client care.

• Familiarity with metrics and key performance indicators used in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, reflective of experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model ensures guaranteed rates are paid in advance of collections, minimizing financial uncertainties. Additional benefits include:
