Job Summary:
The specialty is Step Down Unit in Portland. This role involves providing specialized care for higher-acuity patients, including those requiring trach and ventilator support, critical care drips, intermediate care, and complex cardiac and respiratory management. The position requires float flexibility between units and facilities, catering to adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a step down or similar unit, valid certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, applicable license, and experience charting using Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for ventilated patients, managing central lines, blood product administration, and stabilizing critical patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units and partner facilities as needed.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. The position involves floating between multiple facilities in the Portland area, with potential additional incentives when floating to select locations. Travelers may be expected to work around holidays and will need to request specific days off upfront. All scheduling and RTO requests should be included during application and approved in advance.
