Shelf Merchandiser

This position requires the tasks to be performed as outlined below at a commissary store in a retail environment.

• Replenish shelves, end caps and displays with products daily
• Straighten merchandise to give a neat, full appearance
• Rotate products on the shelves LIFO
• Move product from the warehouse to the sales floor
• Dispose of all packaging and boxes for our brands
• Consolidate and organize pallets in warehouse
• Check for and remove expired product from shelves
• Maintain a clean work area in warehouse
• Observe company's safety rules and guidelines
• Know company brands and its products
• Perform other tasks as assigned

The shelf merchandiser position is a physically demanding position. While performing the duties of this job, one is regularly required to spend a significant amount of time at work standing, walking, lifting heavy objects.

In addition, it requires one to do a great deal of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions and require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Generally works indoors in a typical grocery store environment. Is exposed to drafts, heat, (e.g. combination controlled temperatures/climates and weather conditions. Walk in freezers and chilled areas), noise, and dust.

Night Shift, Weekends and Holidays

Pay rate is $19-$21 and 15 hrs. per week. "If you currently work for one of our competitors please note that qualified candidates who do not work for a competitor will be given preference."
