Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care in Oswego, NY. This travel assignment starts on October 5, 2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,197 to $1,284 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The position is a day-shift assignment with 12-hour shifts (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.) and includes every other weekend. The role involves float requirements and is in a long-term care setting. Candidates must hold a New York license and BLS certification; 1+ year of relevant experience is expected.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per resident care plans; monitor responses and report changes
- Provide routine nursing care and support with activities of daily living to residents
- Conduct regular assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the supervising RN
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Respond promptly to call lights; maintain infection control practices and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate charting, protect patient privacy, and ensure continuity of care for residents with dementia

Requirements
- Current New York LPN license
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of practical nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or similar setting
- Ability to float to different units as needed
- Education: Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work effectively with residents who have dementia
