Registered Nurse - Oncology

Position Summary This Registered Nurse (RN) position is for an inpatient acute care oncology team in Raleigh, NC. The role requires a strong foundation in acute care and an interest in oncology care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an inpatient oncology/acute care setting. Perform assessments, care planning, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring. Support patients receiving cancer‑related treatment and symptom management. Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and related treatments as trained. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and palliative care teams. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care needs, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate continuity of care. Qualifications Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in acute care, med‑surg, oncology, hematology/oncology, or inpatient hospital nursing. Strong assessment, documentation, and patient coordination skills. Interest or experience with oncology, cancer care, or complex adult medicine. BLS certification required; oncology‑related certifications are a plus. Comfortable in a structured, fast‑paced inpatient hospital environment. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $35–$49. Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000. Loan forgiveness up to $25,000.
