Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests-covering areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
• Verify results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibrations on lab equipment.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, train new personnel or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and tidy work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a relevant allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hiring.
• Maintain a valid certification throughout your employment.
