Hemenway & Barnes LLP is seeking a dedicated mid-level Associate for our Private Client group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in serving high-net-worth individuals and families. They will advise on a full range of matters including but not limited to: trust and estate planning strategies, administration of trusts and estates, wealth transfer strategies, tax planning and gift transfers. Must have strong drafting and client interfacing skills.

Excellent academic credentials, outstanding writing and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism are essential.

A successful candidate will be able to provide comprehensive estate planning representation and outstanding client service designed to build strong and reliable long-term relationships.

The base salary range provided below reflects our good faith estimate of the expected starting compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final compensation offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, external market data, and internal equity considerations. In addition to base salary, employees receive other variable compensation based on their role and individual performance. $180,000 - $230,000.
