About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Accounting to lead a transformative phase in its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and running a global accounting organization that is scalable, technology-enabled, and focused on providing financial insights. This role demands a builder with a strong technical accounting foundation, capable of leading a team through significant process and organizational changes. The VP, Accounting will own the design and effectiveness of the accounting operating model, maintain the integrity of financial statements, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls. They will also be at the forefront of systems integration, process improvement, and talent leadership, with a focus on modernizing the accounting function and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. Applicants for the VP, Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an active CPA. The role requires significant leadership experience in a complex accounting organization, a proven track record of process and organizational improvement, and the ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels. Strong people leadership skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior leaders are essential. Experience in a consumer-facing, hospitality, entertainment, or retail business, particularly in a private equity-backed or change-driven environment, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in Big Four accounting, and experience with SAP, OneStream, and Coupa, as well as a history of leading international accounting operations.
