About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and leading budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes. This role demands a strategic and detail-oriented individual who can also serve as a key business partner to the executive team, driving financial strategy and identifying growth opportunities. The Vice President of Accounting will be instrumental in the development and mentorship of a high-performing accounting team and will be involved in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems to support business scalability. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting and finance experience is required, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking financial leader with the ambition and capability to transition into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. Key qualifications include a strong background in general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, as well as a proven track record in leading financial operations and strategic initiatives such as M&A, capital planning, and long-term financial modeling. The role also calls for a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to the highest standards of professional integrity.
