Position Overview
We are seeking a detailoriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a highvolume accounting function within a wellestablished music and media organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven setting while maintaining accuracy and strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing & 3Way Matching
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices (300+ weekly), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform 3way PO matching to validate invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or missing documentation.
- Enter and code invoices accurately within Microsoft Navision .
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
- Prepare invoices for approval and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Assist with weekly payment runs, including checks and electronic payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances.
- Support monthend close activities related to accounts payable.
- Maintain organized electronic documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Work closely with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing and receiving processes.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency while maintaining controls in a highvolume environment.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a highvolume environment.
- Handson experience with 3way matching required.
- Experience using Microsoft Navision (or similar ERP systems) strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Fully remote position; candidates must be located in Minnesota or Wisconsin .
