Associate Director, Market Research and Analytics - Specialty
AbbVie
Associate Director role focused on designing and executing marketing research and analytics initiatives for the US Specialty Hypothyroid franchise. The position requires synthesizing primary research, competitive intelligence, and behavioral data to inform strategic decision-making across commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage marketing research and analytics initiatives for Hypothyroid franchises
- Develop actionable insights by synthesizing primary research, market intelligence, and competitive data
- Lead custom research projects independently and manage external supplier relationships
- Design measurement and performance assessment plans to track brand program execution and impact
- Manage and develop direct reports while fostering team communication and psychological safety
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD preferred
- Approximately 10 years of marketing research and/or analytics experience
- Pharmaceutical industry experience with physician-level prescribing and institutional sales data
- Advanced analytical reasoning, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong presentation and written communication skills across organizational levels
- Demonstrated project management and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Leadership capability in matrixed, fast-paced environments
