About the Position

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonography Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Variable 8-hour days Hours per Shift: Start times between 7 AM and 9 AM; until 5 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year in pediatric sonography License: BLS, ARDMS required Certifications: Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred; Fetal Echo encouraged; Adult echo a plus Must-Have: Knowledgeable and experienced with ECMO procedure. Ability to assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement. Extensive understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease. Description: Perform echocardiographic studies within the complete spectrum of diagnoses seen in fetal congenital heart disease (22+ weeks) and pediatric heart disease. Adult congenital echocardiography experience is beneficial. Cover NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU. Recognize and triage emergent situations. Provide written communication to cardiologists. Maintain equipment. Log and bill procedures. Experience with EMR and PACS systems. Familiarity with Epic and PACS Fuji CV synapse is required. Scrubs required: Caribbean Blue.
