Currently seeking a Consultant Pharmacist in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Hospital full‑time position available in Trenton, NJ. Must have NJ Board of Pharmacy license. Apply specialized knowledge of the scientific and clinical use of medications, including medication action, dosing, adverse effects, and drug interactions. Take an active role in the development and implementation of protocols and drug utilization. Monitor medication administration/safety through performance indicator reviews and data presentations. Provide education to the nursing staff through in‑services and educational material. Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and other multidisciplinary departments to improve patient care. Attend Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and Medication Safety Committee meetings.
