We are seeking an experienced Chef De Cuisine to oversee banquets for The National WWII Museum located in New Orleans, LA.

The National WWII Museum, one of the top attractions in New Orleans, shares the story of the American experience in WWII, why it was fought, how it was won, and its lasting impact, inspiring visitors through lessons of courage and freedom.

About the job

The Chef De Cuisine plays a key role in supporting kitchen leadership and delivering high-quality culinary experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position contributes to the success of event-day and daily operations by ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all food service areas.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $48875 - $63250

• Education Requirement: Associate degree, culinary degree or equivalent experience
• Management Experience: 1 year
• Related Experience: 3 years
