Systems Analyst II, Home HealthWakeMed is seeking a Systems Analyst II, Home Health to support the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Information Services, operational departments, end users, and vendors to ensure technology solutions effectively support patient care and business operations.The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with strong analytical skills, Epic application experience, and a passion for improving workflows and system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Build & Change Management (40%)Analyze customer requirements and implement application enhancements and system changes.Configure, test, validate, and support Epic applications.Lead change requests and application optimization initiatives.Workflow Analysis & System Design (20%)Analyze department workflows, reporting needs, and operational processes.Recommend and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and performance.Apply best practices to system design and lifecycle management.Tier 2 Application Support (20%)Provide high-quality Tier 2 support for assigned applications.Troubleshoot and resolve application and workflow issues.Collaborate with users, technical teams, and vendors to identify and implement solutions.Documentation & Education (10%)Maintain documentation for application changes and support processes.Educate team members and stakeholders on system updates and enhancements.Reporting Support (10%)Develop report specifications and partner with report developers to support operational and regulatory reporting needs.Ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards.Qualifications Required:Minimum of 3 years of Information Technology Systems Analysis experience.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.Experience supporting enterprise software applications.Preferred Education:Associate degree in Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.Preferred Certifications:Epic Certification in area of responsibility.Relevant clinical, technical, or professional certification/licensure.Ideal Candidate:Experience supporting Epic or other healthcare applications.Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.Join a mission-driven healthcare organization where technology and innovation support exceptional patient care.
