Dental Treatment Coordinator

Overview

Children's Dental Specialists & Adult Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Scheduling & Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team in Warren & Chester, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with patients and families while helping them navigate their treatment journey.

In this role, you will be much more than the first point of contact. You will play a vital role in keeping the practice running efficiently by managing schedules, coordinating treatment, supporting financial conversations, and ensuring that every patient receives an exceptional experience from initial contact through completion of care. What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize provider and hygiene schedules to maximize productivity and patient access
• Schedule new and existing patients while maintaining an efficient daily flow
• Present treatment plans and review financial options with patients and parents
• Follow up on unscheduled and pending treatment to support case acceptance
• Coordinate pediatric, general dentistry, and specialty appointments
• Verify insurance information and help patients understand their benefits and coverage
• Monitor schedule openings, cancellations, and opportunities to improve patient access
• Answer incoming calls and provide outstanding customer service
• Confirm appointments and assist with recall and reactivation efforts
• Collect patient balances and discuss financial arrangements professionally and confidently
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate closely with doctors, clinical team members, and office leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, workflow, and the overall patient experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental front office, scheduling, or treatment coordination experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of dental scheduling, insurance verification, and patient coordination
• Experience in presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Dependable, professional, and team-focused personality
• Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or multi-specialty practices is a plus
• Experience using Curve Dental software is preferred
• Recent graduates with relevant dental office experience are encouraged to apply

Compensation: Starting at $25 per hour, based on experience
