What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients
- Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately, prioritizing care interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Follow all safety and compliance standards for infection control and patient privacy
- Utilize advanced life support skills in emergency situations
- Support process improvements and patient satisfaction initiatives
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with healthcare software and electronic health records
Preferred:
- Additional clinical certifications
