Practice Manager

Job Location : Intermountain Medical Group

Position Purpose

• Manages and coordinates administrative and clinical services for one or more physician office sites. 
• Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness in an office. 
• Supervises medical, nursing and clerical staff to ensure quality patient care. 
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
• Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. 
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
• Typically reports to top management.

Position Qualifications

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Health Care or Business Administration preferred.
• May consider experience in practice management and board certification in lieu of education.

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

• Two to Three years of management experience in a large primary care provider practice network and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple physician practice locations.
• Experience working in a hospital system environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of and experience with physician practice systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
