Remote Prior Authorization Specialist

To support care coordination services, the part-time Remote Prior Authorization Specialist will manage tasks such as insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and electronic filing of medical documents while working remotely. Key responsibilities Process assigned tasks with a focus on accuracy and compliance with client protocols Evaluate and electronically file medical documents into patient charts using EHR software Provide exemplary customer service and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience with health information management concepts and EHRs is a plus Proficient in managing a high-volume, fast-paced environment with accuracy Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work in a remote capacity with reliable internet access
